Visualization und Display

We propose a strategic shift in the focus of medical imaging from diagnosis to therapy in order to overcome current limitations in medical interventions. 3D image visualization and meaningful display patient data to the surgeon is crucial to bring this concept to the OR-site.

Our group has a long track-record in building successful software frameworks to implement image-guided applications. SLICER from HMS '96-'99 and JULIUS from MPG '99-07' are predecessors our know-how is biuld on.
